Herbert Hoover is remembered and taught as the last of the 1920's laissez-faire Presidents. His attitude of "rugged individualism" is heavily criticized and he receives much of the blame for not doing enough during the Great Depression. However, Hoover tries many policies to help America recover. Rexford Tugwell, one of Franklin D. Roosevelt's closest advisers, admitted that many of these programs were actually the basis for the New Deal. This webinar will offer different analysis on how should Hoover be remembered?
