This webinar features classroom lessons and activities that reinforce concepts such as scarcity, decision-making, banking, entrepreneurship, markets, and opportunity cost. Session objectives include a quick review of economic concepts, the rationale for using motion pictures as motivators, a book synopsis of featured piece of literature the movie is based on, and an examination of showcased lessons. Presented lessons are stand-alone, can be taught in one class period, and a not dependent on the student reading the book or seeing the movie.
