Presented by Matthew Gherman, Midwood H.S.
Herbert Hoover is often taught as a laissez- faire President, whose inaction helped to usher in and worsen the Great Depression. However, Hoover’s Presidency is much more complicated, with critics ranging from he did too much to he did not do enough. This webinar examines Hoover’s handling of the Great Depression and an analysis of why this President was so polarizing.
